Walk-Talk Therapy

Walk-Talk Therapy moves traditional therapy sessions outdoors. We meet near the office or at an agreed-upon location and walk while we work through therapeutic goals.

Since it stems from traditional therapeutic methods (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, stress-reduction techniques), Walk-Talk Therapy can benefit everyone. In particular, it benefits those experiencing anxiety, grief, depression, feelings of isolation, feeling trapped, dealing with substance abuse, or those feeling stuck in their therapeutic journey. Additionally, Walk-Talk Therapy may also be helpful to those who feel vulnerable or awkward about opening up.

Physical activity, combined with counseling, may be the perfect approach for you to help improve your mood, reduce tension, improve emotional and self-awareness, or boost creativity.
